Job Title: Group Sales & Marketing Manager

Location: NairobiWe seek to recruit a dynamic, enterprising and well experienced person to fill the position of a Group Sales & Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Accomplish marketing and sales objectives through planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and trade promotion programs
Developing and implementing annual Sales and marketing plans to ensure revenue growth in all Company’s products
Manage, develop and lead the sales and marketing team
Improve company’s products marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities, product packaging and coordination of the new product development
Determining annual and gross profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projecting expected sales volumes and profit for new and existing products, analysing market trends and results and establishing pricing strategies
Preparation and management of the unit’s annual budgets by forecasting requirements, expenditures, analysing variances as well as initiating corrective actions
Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements, defining markets, competitors’ share, strengths and weaknesses and establishing targeted market share
Prepare and present periodic reports to the management on market trends and evolutions with the industry
Improve and sustain rapport with distributors and key accounts by making periodic visits, explore specific needs and anticipating new opportunities
Manage all brand communications and presentations
Qualifications, Competencies and Attributes
Degree in Business Management/Studies/Marketing;
Diploma in Marketing or Public Relations or an equivalent in the industry;
Should have had at least 5 years progressive experience in Sales &
Marketing Management of FMCG, preferably in Agribusiness Industry
Good experience in marketing and sales strategies
Good knowledge in financial planning, market concepts, product positioning, sales planning, Competitive
Good managerial, leadership and Analytical skills
Good understanding of the customers/ client relationships and product development
Must be computer literate;
High level of integrity and passion for customer service
