Job Title: Head of Pensions
Profile Introduction: Our client, a leading financial services provider that has been providing insurance management solutions to Kenya for the past 50 years, seeks to engage and hire a Head of Pensions.
The successful candidate shall facilitate the growth of the business by adhering to statutory and regulatory compliance; ensuring effective management of production channels; and ensuring that sponsors, trustees and members’ needs are being met.The successful candidate will be expected to undertake the following primary responsibilities:
Maintain quality control by adhering to cost, quality and time constraints and addressing and embedding Audit findings to maintain compliance and ensure growth of business;
Maintain an efficient administration system to support the business;
Identify and build upon established and emerging intermediaries to expand distribution in the organization;
Identify and manage product related and financial risks; as well as prepare budgets and managing expenses;
Review products continuously and communicate findings to the product innovation committee and keep up to date with competitors to meet changing market trends; and
Provide people leadership and continuously enhance the competence of the pension staff through training and exposure to market best practice.

Qualifications
7 years at Senior Level in a high performing Deposit Administration environment;
MBA in Commercial Field (Preferably Finance);
Master’s degree will be an added advantage and
Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Access.
