Vacancies: Quantitative Field Interviewers for GrOW Research ProjectThe African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) is an international non-profit, Non-governmental organization that carries out policy relevant research on population, health, education and development issues facing sub-Saharan Africa.
APHRC invites applications for Field Interviewers for a household based data collection exercise, in the GrOW project, to be conducted in Korogocho.
The objective of the project is to assess the impact of subsidized and enhanced quality of childcare on women’s participation in labor markets and income generation.
Applicants should possess the following:
Must be a resident of Korogocho
Have a Kenya certificate of secondary education (KCSE) certificate, with a minimum grade of C+.
Be fluent in English and Kiswahili.
Be prepared to work full time on the project for the duration of the study.
Be willing to work outside normal business hours.
Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and interviewing skills.
Proven experience in quantitative research work (data collection and report writing)
Experience in working in Korogocho and knowledge of the DSS operation will be an added advantage.

The successful candidates will be engaged for a period of not more than 4 weeks from Mid-August.
