Job Title: Environment, Head & Safety Officer (EHS)

Department: Efficiency Monitoring & Quality Assurance
 

Position Responsible To: Head of Efficiency monitoring & Quality Assurance
 

Position Report to the Job Title: E.H.S. InspectorOverall Objective: The environment health & safety officer (E.H.S) being responsible for E.H.S issues will ensure that the company procedures & process adhere to the highest level of E.H.S standard as expected by our clients and in line with company policy

Key Tasks

Ensure all staff (management, driver & mechanics) is trained in E.H.S through regular focused programs

Ensure that an E.H.S manual for Roy is prepared updated regularly & implemented daily

Ensuring that the work environment is safe and relevant signage is in place

Ensure all truck PASS PRE LOADIIG INSPECTION

Ensure that a fie preparedness team & emergency responses team is in place and is trained on the procedures at the head office & branches

Ensure incidents, accidents and violations are recoded and corrective action is taken, and learning points shared among all staff

Coordinate the company preparedness for external E.H.S audit
