Job Description
Job Title: Mechanics
Department: Operations
Position Responsible To: Logistics ManagerKey Responsibilities
Ensure proper vehicle maintenance by timely Diagnosing and repairs.
Prepare and update preventive maintenance schedules for all trucks and trailers.
Confirm and review with EC & PM the monthly Truck wise maintenance cost.
Advise on the Truck condition and economic viability of repairs/rehabilitation
Report any damage, misuse etc. by negligence of drivers and mechanics
Issue VIRs and advise workshop on repairs required
Confirm repairs done and authorize release of vehicles from workshop.
Inspect the trucks to ensure they meet the required standard by clients.
Assist in diagnosis of all vehicles wherever and whenever necessary
Key Requirements
Diploma in Mechanics
Minimum 2 years’ experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of Mantrac is Key
