Position Responsible To: Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper vehicle maintenance by timely Diagnosing and repairs.


• Prepare and update preventive maintenance schedules for all trucks and trailers.


• Confirm and review with EC & PM the monthly Truck wise maintenance cost.


• Advise on the Truck condition and economic viability of repairs/rehabilitation


• Report any damage, misuse etc. by negligence of drivers and mechanics


• Issue VIRs and advise workshop on repairs required


• Confirm repairs done and authorize release of vehicles from workshop.


• Inspect the trucks to ensure they meet the required standard by clients.


• Assist in diagnosis of all vehicles wherever and whenever necessary

 

Key Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanics


• Minimum 2 years’ experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of Mantrac is Key
