Local Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Advisor

IBTCI is currently seeking candidates for a local monitoring and evaluation (M&E) advisor position based in Nairobi for 3 years on a project focused on M&E of all USAID country activities related to Health, Population and HIV/AIDS; Basic Education; Governing Justly and Democratically; Economic Growth, Environment and Natural Resources Management.

The M&E officer is expected to work together with the senior M&E advisor to design and manage evaluations, analyses, and assessments throughout the life of the Project (3 years), including the design of the evaluation methodology, participatory data collection methods and protocols, and data verification techniques.  S/he will also work on the design, quality, development, and production of all assessments, analytical reports and evaluations, including the testing of the development hypothesis.


Requirements: 

Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&E, particularly the development and maintenance of M&E systems, including indicator development, data collection and analysis, data validation and audits, and performance reporting.USAID experience is a plus.Strong written and oral communication skills.Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Health, Population and HIV/AIDS; Basic Education; Governing Justly and Democratically; Economic Growth, Environment and Natural Resources Management.
