Program Description: The Research Care and Training Program (RCTP), is a collaboration between Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and University of Washington (UW)
RCTP is seeking motivated individuals to fill the following vacancies for integrated Community Case Management of pneumonia, Malaria, diarrhea in Children under 5 years project.
Job Title: Team Leader (6 Positions)
Reports to: Survey Coordinator
Duration: 1 Month, starting Mid May 2014
Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of two data collectorsAssist in data collectionReview completeness of formsRegularly and timely updates of data collection progressLiaise with CHWs and organize for interview venuesCarry out participant reimbursementsAny other duty as assigned by study coordinatorRequirements: University degree (Sociology, Anthropology, Nursing, Education) with at least 2 years research experience in a supervisory position OR Higher diploma with at least 5 years research experience in a supervisory position
Job Title: Examiner (6 Positions)
Duration: 1 Month, starting Mid May 2014
Assess, diagnose and prescribe medicine for sick childrenConsult with CHWs to change treatment where necessaryComplete data collection formsReview completeness of data collection formsConduct interviews where necessaryAny other duty as assigned by Team LeaderRegistered community health nurse, Clinical officer, Enrolled community health nurse. Experience working in research project is an added advantageJob Title: Observers (6 Positions)
Duration: 1 Month, starting Mid May 2014
