Our Client is well-established Group of Companies with vast experience in the water industry. 

They seek to recruit a qualified Technical Sales Engineer with both commercial and technical skills in the Water Industry and with a combination of sales experience and exposure in project design. 

Engineers with Mechanical, Bio systems or Water training backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and solicit business for water projects.


• Lead in the development of technical designs and bill of quantities.


• Preparation and submission of tender documents.


• Supervision of contracts for boreholes, piped water and water irrigation systems


• Design water treatment plants, pump systems, stations and pipelines.


• Designing sewer improvement programs.


• Technical engineering support to sales team aimed at generating sales volumes.


• Build capacity within the sales team through product training and offering.


• Support customers, designers and maintenance engineers in solving hydraulic problems.


• Prepare a weekly, monthly and yearly sales and marketing plan.


• Prepare monthly reports of meetings, leads, project developments.


• Operate according to the approved budget and management instructions.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Bio systems, Chemical, Mechanical or water Engineering.


• Should have a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in the water industry.


• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Should possess strong work ethics with a strong sense of integrity


• Should be a self-  starter, thinks on his feet, proactive and has network and strong influencing skills


• Proactive with strong decision making, persuasion, leadership and communication skills
