Terms of Reference: External Auditor for Zinduka Afrika

Zinduka Afrika (ZAF) is registered in Kenya as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). ZAF’s vision is to ensure that communities live dignified and quality lives.

The organization implements projects in Primary and Preventive Health Care and Treatment, Secure and Sustainable Livelihoods, Child Support and Protection and Gender and Human Rights Programs

The organization is seeking for a Financial Auditing Firm. 

The auditors shall make a report to the members of the accounts examined by them and on every Balance sheet laid before the Organization at it Annual General Meeting (AGM)during their tenure of office, and report shall state:
Whether or not they have obtained all the information and explanations they have required.Whether, in their opinion, the balance sheet referred to in the report is properly drawn up so as to exhibit a true and correct view of the state of the Organization’s affairs.Will be required to be present during the AGM meeting(s)  Perform as per letter of engagementRequirements;

The auditing firm must be registered, has been in existence for at least Six (6) years and has conducted audits for the last four (4) years.

The firm is expected to submit Curriculum for two of its senior auditors.

Attach copies of the firm’s certificate of registration, KRA PIN number and KRA compliance certificate.

Request for Proposal for External Audit Services for the Financial Year 2014
Equatorial Commercial Bank Ltd (ECB) would like to invite proposals from qualified external audit firms for the financial year ending 31st December 2014 in accordance with the requirements of the Banking Act, the Companies Act and IFRS guidelines.
Proposal bids will only be accepted from interested firms with the capacity to handle large audits and must provide as a minimum:
1. Profile of the firm’s partners, senior management and branch network including copies of their current ICPAK practicing certificates
2. Indication of the ICPAK’s latest AQA review including any professional disciplinary cases over the last 3 years

3. Previous (not more than 3 years) and existing CBK approvals for financial institution external audit
4. Methodology and realistic time for completion and ECB value addition approach
5. Appropriate level of Professional indemnity cover
6. Any other relevant information
7. Copies of firm registration, PIN and tax compliance certificates
8. Indicative costing, and terms of payment

Position: External Communications Manager
Reporting to: Chief Corporate Communications Officer  
 Department: Corporate Communications.

Role Purpose: The purpose of this position is to enhance Telkom Kenya’s relations with all key media houses in the country as well as improve Telkom Kenya’s stakeholder relations and engagements. 

The holder of this role also deputises the Chief Officer of the department.

The Consultant will be a link person between WVI/ World Health Organization (WHO) and Aga Khan University Teaching Hospital Reference Laboratory.
