Job Title: Product Executive – CCTV Surveillance Systems
The main purpose of the Product Executive at SWTL is to promote, market and sell CCTV Surveillance systems to key account customers & other target customers and organizations for the company to meet its sales targets and also ensure continual buying of the same.  Job Description

Perform direct sales to key account customers. Develop/create new market for the product salesEnsure maintenance of product sales to key accounts Ensure adherence to the stipulated SOPs  Develop and maintain a customer database Demonstrate CCTV products to current and potential clients Follow up and maintain sales activity records and produce timely reports as requiredEnsure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships are maintained.Maintaining and ensuring up to date Sales records are maintained Co-ordinate deliveries of sold items and collections from courier and ensuring there is less wastage in resources. Concern Worldwide is an Irish-based non-governmental, international, humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Kenyan Nationals for the following positions:
 1. Position: Project Coordinator Urban Surveillance
 Location: Nairobi, with travel to field locations
 Reports To: Programme Coordinator, Food, Income and Markets
The Food, Income and Markets Programme established an operations research project in 2010 to define and test indicators of humanitarian crisis in urban informal settlements. This was borne out of the need to monitor conditions in urban slums and be able to identify and target populations in crisis with humanitarian support. The Project Coordinator will therefore lead the design and development of the research as well as manage all aspects entailed in its roll-out/implementation as the project looks to expand its coverage and partnerships. Recognizing the key technical competencies in research design and implementation, the Project Coordinator will also act as an advisor for all operational research being undertaken in Concern Kenya.
 Main Duties & Responsibilities:Provide technical guidance and oversight to all Concern Kenya staff,Operation research, directing research design, selecting lead investigators and reviewing results.Build the capacity of the relevant staff within the FIM Programme on analysis and management of data aimed at enriching and directing the urban programme, including informing learning documentsBe the custodian of the Concern Kenya Research Plan reporting progress at biannual CountryManagement Team meetingsDevelop within the Concern programme staff tools and techniques in evaluation and learningUndertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Assistant Country DirectorWritten reports for quarterly assessments and evaluationsWhere required, power point presentations on results for dissemination to partners, government, etc.Capacity building of staff in various assessment, analysis, and data collection techniques including training in appropriate softwareArticles for submission to peer reviewed journalsA Master’s Degree or PhD in relevant field (Humanitarian studies, Public Health, Nutrition, Biostatistics, Food Security, etc.)Training in ethical principles of research, statistical analysis and complex survey design and analysisWorking knowledge of SPSS, Stata, SAS, EPIINFO, ENA softwaresExperience in designing and implementing evaluations and operational research, using both quantitative and qualitative methodsExperience developing articles for publicationExperience working in an urban slum environment and working with government partnersExperience in early warning/surveillanceExperience with design, management and analysis of large-scale datasetsExperience of digital data gathering technology and softwareInterested candidates, who meet the above requirements, should apply by sending a CV and a covering letter addressed to: - to the following email address: nairobi.hr@concern.net

NMC Network Surveillance – Shift Technician Ref: TECHNICAL_NMC-NS-ST_JUNE 2011

Reporting to Safaricom  Shift Support Team Manager; the holder of the job will ensure proper monitoring and detection of faults in the entire network coupled with timely and correct escalation to the various maintenance teams so as to meet the set network KPI’S.

Key Responsibilities

Network element fault identification, diagnosis, reporting, follow-up & fault clearance;
Proper fault escalation and network updates;
Perform proper reaction time for faults in the network;
Conduct proper 1st level fault clearance;
Control of works orders execution and ensure network quality;
NMC daily reports.

Minimum requirements

University degree in electrical/electronics with a bias in telecommunications;
Excellent communication and strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
Analytical skills, a team player, results oriented;
Must have a flexible attitude to working times or arrangements;
Must have a passion for serving others.
