Main Purpose of Job
Provide engineering professional and technical leadership in the Factory, ensuring people health and
safety, product safety and environment are never compromised, and that all engineering activities enhance business objectives, product quality and plant operation/performance

Main responsibilities
People: Develop and maintain Engineering competences at the factory (including technical and management competencies, talent review, career and succession planning, etc)
Fixed Asset Planning: Ensure optimum decisions are made/implemented regarding factory assets (including Investment cycle), in alignment with the Market Business Strategy. Manage accordingly the factory's Engineering data
Project Management: Monitor Capital Investments, ensuring justification, request, implementation, start-up, reporting aligned with Guidelines/TPM. Foster Projects' flexible design to allow adjustment to changing Operation requirements
M&I: Enable high performance Operations, by providing assets' Maintenance according to the Nestlé Strategy, using TPM/PM as the multi-disciplined approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle
Industrial Services: Ensure that the utilities' needs of Production are fulfilled and optimised. That all utilities that come/may come in contact with product are treated according to the food safety acceptance criteria
E&A /MES. Ensure that the electrical services, degree of automation and MES at factory site level, are in line with the Business requirements
Energy/Water/SHE Management: Ensure optimum and sustainable Operations at factory level, by following the Energy/Water Management approach, driving the corresponding Reporting System, and respecting SHE policies
Process & Packaging Optimisation: Drive I&R, initiating/coordinating implementation of new processes/technologies with relevant Market, PTC, Corporate and SBU Engineering

Key Experiences: What experience brings success to this job?

Minimum 5 years in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as Project Engineer or Project Manager, Industrial Services, M&I or E&A/MES Engineer, or equivalent positions)
Participation in a M&I and/or Factory Engineering College(s)
Fixed Assets Maintenance responsibilities, including maintenance budget preparation and control (preferably including exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning and/or maintenance execution)
Personnel Supervision (on technical teams, contractors or other 3rd parties)
Preparation of Investment budgets >500kCHF, and acquisition of technical equipment (for Production and/or Industrial Services)
Participation in the development of engineering projects >500kCHF, as part of a multidisciplinary team (preferably including different products and technologies, and both, the mechanical and E&A areas)
Participation in the start-up of technical equipment(s) and/or production line(s) (preferably including industrial services supply)
Participation in multi-disciplinary teams that focuses in process or packing optimization/continuous improvement

The National Organization of Peer Educators (NOPE) is a Kenyan NGO and a leader in comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention and Strategic Behavioral Communication (SBC) interventions with Most-at-Risk Populations, youth, workplaces and underserved populations.

NOPE works closely with the Government of Kenya and implements different donor-funded programs in collaboration with different stakeholders. These include the New Partners Initiative (NPI-SHAP), funded by PEPFAR through CDC, the USAID APHIAplus Kamili, APHIAplus Nuru ya Bonde, and the Global Fund Round 7.

NOPE seeks to recruit a dynamic individual with the relevant qualifications to fill in the post of Finance Manager.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance Manager will provide financial management services for NOPE, spearheading financial management, control and forward planning for finances in line with the NOPE strategy.

Specific areas of responsibility will include;

Trócaire Horn & East Africa Regional Office seeks to recruit a qualified candidate as a Governance and Human Rights Programme Officer (PO) for South Sudan, based in Wau, South Sudan.

Trócaire is an Irish Catholic development organization, which works in solidarity with local development actors in over 27 countries throughout the developing world.

We are seeking a committed and competent PO with a proven track record of managing development programmes and building relationships with local partners.

S/He will adopt empowering management practise to deepen partnerships, improve programmes and maintain accountability in the Sudan Governance & Human Rights programme.

Reporting to the Sudan Country Representative, the person will be competent in governance, rights-based and policy work, and development through partnership.

* Works closely with the Government of South Sudan and its representatives;
* Manages a portfolio of national NGOs, supporting their organisational development;
* Ensures the highest standards of programme quality and accountability; * Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in social sciences, development studies, or related field;
* Minimum of 3 years’ development experience, preferably with Sudanese organisations;
* Good knowledge of Sudan and understanding of its history;
* Proven leadership, management, inter-personal, decision-making, and analytical skills;
* Excellent communication skills in English, and/or Sudanese languages is desirable. The contract term will be one year renewable. Trócaire promotes equal opportunities for female professionals.

NMC Network Surveillance – Shift Technician Ref: TECHNICAL_NMC-NS-ST_JUNE 2011

Reporting to Safaricom  Shift Support Team Manager; the holder of the job will ensure proper monitoring and detection of faults in the entire network coupled with timely and correct escalation to the various maintenance teams so as to meet the set network KPI’S.

Key Responsibilities

Network element fault identification, diagnosis, reporting, follow-up & fault clearance;
Proper fault escalation and network updates;
Perform proper reaction time for faults in the network;
Conduct proper 1st level fault clearance;
Control of works orders execution and ensure network quality;
NMC daily reports.

Minimum requirements

University degree in electrical/electronics with a bias in telecommunications;
Excellent communication and strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
Analytical skills, a team player, results oriented;
Must have a flexible attitude to working times or arrangements;
Must have a passion for serving others.
