Position: Senior M&E Officer for Verifications
 

Scope of Work: International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI) seeks a Somali-speaking Senior M&E Officer for Verifications to supportits Third Party Verification Programme funded under DFID Somalia. 

This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya, with occasional travel to Somalia.

The Somali-speaking Senior M&E Officer will be in charge of:

• Overseeing the timely and qualitative deployment and submission of all verifications conducted by third party monitors throughout Somalia.


• Overseeing all nominations &pre-deployment verification activities.


• Overseeing all relevant Implementing Partner – Monitor communication and relationship-building.

Requirements: (Skills & relevant experience should be highlighted in your application).

• Somali-speaking Kenyan national


• Very strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and quality of work


• Strong English written and verbal communication skills


• University degree


• Highly motivated with demonstrated commitment to quality work

Not required: M&E Experience.
 

Preferred but not required: The candidate will ideally have some experience working on governance-related work.

Note: A written test may be administered to better gauge English and organizational skills of top candidates.
