Stores Supervisor Job in Nairobi Kenya - Manufacturing Company (30K - 50K)

A well-established Manufacturing company in Nairobi is looking for a

motivated and result oriented candidates to fill the below position.
 

Reporting

to the respective head, the position serves the company the purposes of

managing daily movement of goods, safe guarding company assets and

providing consultative sales approach while building customer base and

relationships with key organization correspondences

You will work under minimal supervision, tight deadlines while ensuring confidentiality at all times. 

You should be a professional who can accomplish his/her own areas of assignments.

Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Manager with dotted line to Plant Manager
 

Location: Nairobi
 

Salary: Shs 30,000 – 50,000 negotiable depending on experience

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspection of all items getting into and out of the store.


• Maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels.


• Maintaining effective records both in the system and manual stock cards.


• Ensuring effective arrangement, identification and labeling.


• Good housekeeping in the store.


• Must submit stock take results done on 15th and end month to relevant departments including the Directors.


• Ensuring cash sale goods are prepared and transferred for despatch


• Issuing of goods from stores to dispatch


• Effective management of the staff under you. There should be proper planning and effective delegation of duties that increases performance with minimum supervision.


• Updated stock cards should be maintained for all the products in store.


• Should instill discipline to all the staff under you.


• Should be able to submit the Performance appraisals for all staff that you supervise.


• Be responsible for the section/department including the assets therein

The successful candidate must have the following Key skills and Qualifications or its equivalent 

• Proficiency in Excel and word


• Should have at least a diploma in the relevant field and above.


• A  background in ERP


• Ability to work with minimal supervision


• Able to produce daily reports


• Report to work early


• High integrity and trustworthy person  to handle confidential data


• Should  have  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both numerical skills


• Should have at least  5years experience in the relevant field of stores management


• Should be mature enough  aged between 35 years and above


• Should be able to relocate to Nairobi
