Responsibilities:



  • Ensuring the overall smooth running of the fitness center operations, ensuring quality, standards, and meeting

  • Members’ expectations on a daily basis.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with members.

  • Responsible for driving revenue growth whilst focusing on developing exceptional member experience.

  • Responsible for the financial performance of the department.

  • Creativity by organizing and delivering an appropriate range of fitness activities and programmes that are profitable.

  • Keeping statistical and financial records for the department.

  • Schedule events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.

  • Advise on long-term strategic planning for the Department

  • Ensure all facilities are in perfect operating condition and that the health and safety standards are met.

  • Schedule work/repairs as needed with the Engineering Department.

  • People management – training, recruitment, discipline, development, performance management.

  • Create a culture of care and service excellence among employees.

  • Prepare departmental budgets in liaison with stakeholders; oversee implementation and control of the same budgets. Achieve and surpass revenue targets.

  • Act as focal point of contact for all service providers to the Department ensuring all their obligations are met – be ‘the face’ of MCC health and wellbeing.


Qualifications:



  • Have at least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position in an upmarket fitness center environment locally or Internationally

  • Knowledge and experience in spa management

  • Certification in sports management

  • Able to teach fitness classes – aerobics, yoga, Pilates, etc

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Fun and friendly attitude

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Team working skills

  • Leadership and initiative

  • Passion for health and fitness

  • Willingness to work long hours

Who we are looking for:



inSupply seeks to recruit individuals who are passionate, knowledgeable and experienced administrative work and have basic financial skills. The company is looking for people who are excited about the opportunity to work improving public health supply chains in East Africa. The successful candidate’s assignment will involve office management, support in procurement, Logistics and travel arrangements and other administrative work.



Responsibilities (not limited to the following):



▪ Organizing meetings, conferences and other office events, taking minutes during meetings and distributing them efficiently to concerned members.



▪ Organizing travel arrangements for both local and international Staff-Flight bookings, Hotel Bookings and Ground transportation.



▪ Facility management, telecommunications, general maintenance/repairs, central services, mailroom operations, central filing, telephone/public reception



▪ Getting quotations, negotiating and procuring goods (Logistics and IT) and any other purchases needed for Kenya office and supporting any other JSI office.



▪ Provide local costs inputs for budget proposals.



▪ Draft RFPs and Contracts for goods and services providers.



▪ Accounting for usage and regular supplies of stationery, fuel, motor vehicles etc.; and coordinate drivers’ activities.



▪ Maintaining the accounts for all suppliers and efficient processing of supplier invoices and ensuring that suppliers are promptly paid.



▪ Managing office asset inventory and maintain the inventory list up-to-date.



Essential skills and Qualifications:



● Kenyan national with fluency in English and Swahili required;



● Bachelors degree in Business Administration or other relevant field of study from a recognized university or college.



● Efficiency with use of (Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is essential.



● At least 3 years’ proven experience in as an administrative, procurement and operations role.

Job Purpose


Reporting to the General Manager – Downstream Operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to grow the Corporation’s Downstream businesses covering Consumer & Industrial, Fuel Card and Lubricants.


Responsibilities



  • Developing and Implementing Sales strategies for profitable growth in line with the Corporation’s strategic plan, and performance targets;

  • Developing and Implementing customer retention strategies;

  • Responsible for new product development;

  • Ensuring effective and efficient delivery of customer service;

  • Contributing to formulation of relevant policies and procedures;

  • In charge of relevant reporting of management and financial information for the Commercial department;

  • Identifying high potential outlets and new customers;

  • In charge of budget formulation and stewardship for the department;

  • Identifying other revenue generation opportunities for the Corporation; and

  • Coaching and mentoring direct reports to ensure excellent performance & effective succession plan.


Academic Qualifications



  • Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or any other relevant field from a recognized institution;

  • Bachelors’ degree in , Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or any other relevant field from a recognized institution;


Professional Qualifications



  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage;

  • Membership of MSK or other recognised marketing professional body will be an added advantage;


Experience



  • At least 10 years relevant experience in sales, 5 of which should be at managerial level.

  • Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) will be an added advantage

  • Proven intellectual leadership in managing people, operations and financial resources;

Job Purpose


Reporting to the General Manager – Supply Chain Management & Logistics, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall management of stocks, inventory and ensuring that proper controls are put in place in the Corporation.


Responsibilities



  • Ensuring availability of stocks at all times as per market demands;

  • Ensuring proper receipts, inspection, issuing of stocks and safe custody of transaction documents;

  • Ensuring safe custody of stock in all warehouses;

  • Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of products;

  • Effecting adjustments on stocks entitlements;

  • Ensuring effective control and monitoring of Petroleum stocks all warehouses and other third party installations;

  • Providing daily and periodic reports on the Corporations Stocks and Inventory levels;

  • Maintaining stock labels and bin cards;

  • Monitoring price trends for the international crude and refined petroleum products, advising and planning stock holding level accordingly;

  • Ensuring daily stock reconciliations are done in all warehouses;

  • Incharge of housekeeping in the warehouse;

  • Ensuring compliance and adherence to company policy and procedure, and statutory requirements;

  • Incharge of budget formulation and stewardship for the department; and

  • Mentoring direct reports to ensure excellent performance and effective succession plan.


Academic Qualifications



  • A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing and Supplies or any other relevant field from a recognized institution;

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing and Supplies or any other relevant field from a recognized institution;


Professional Qualifications



  • Professional qualifications in Supply Chain e.g. Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or Certified Procurement & Supply Professional (CPSPK diploma will be an added advantage;

  • Membership to CIPS, KISM or any other relevant professional body

  • Must have a practicing License


Experience



  • At least 10 years relevant experience in Inventory management, 5 of which should be at managerial level.

  • Good knowledge of purchasing and supply chain principles;

  • Analytical Skills;

  • Networking and negotiation skills;
