Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
Developing production objectives
Monitoring and taking necessary corrective actions to meet set production objectives
Enforcing relevant work standards
Controlling operating costs
Initiating and participating in continuous productivity improvement
Staff development through continuous training, coaching, supervision and performance management
Participating in production problem resolution
Preparing production reports and maintaining administrative records
Maintaining sound labor relations
For appointment to this position, the successful candidate must have the following minimum requirements-
Bachelors degree(honours) in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
Minimum five years experience in a Manufacturing environment
Proficiency in computer Applications

Job Title: Spare Parts Salesman
Department: Parts. Under the Supervision of: Parts Manager
Duty Station: Central Parts

Major Role:-
To market, promote and sell spare parts profitably, maintain a high level of customer satisfaction whilst achieving set standards of performance.

Responsibilities:- Includes but not limited to:-
To prepare quotation/proforma for prospects/customer in liaison with the Parts Manager.
Receive orders and deal professionally with customers from initial contact to satisfactory completion of sale.
Impact understanding and guide the prospective clients and or customers about spare parts.
To compile, and present Daily Sales visit plan report weekly sales performance report, monthly sales tracker, summary report and any other report as may be required by the Parts Manager or other supervisor.
Follow-up on payment for sales made.
To conduct field visit to prospective clients.
Achieving monthly set targets.
Advice the management on market trends based on latest competitor.
Plus any other duties related to this field.

Requirements & Qualifications
Proper knowledge and experience in handling motor bike and vehicle spare parts is a must.
Should have at least 3 years from a busy parts store
Should be fully computer literate.
Secondary level of education with not less than Grade C.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Should posses a valid Motorcycle Driving License.
