Job Title: Aircraft Planning / Quality Control Engineer
Job Description
- Assisting in Implementing a quality audit programme
- Assisting in assessing contractors / sub-contractors and suppliers Assessing external specialist services required to be used by the AMO in the performance of maintenance.
- Assist in preparing standard practices and procedures for use within the organization, derived from international aviation best practices, and keeping them up to date.
- Assist in evaluation of all maintenance tasks in the company
- Monitoring of all company related documents to ensure that any items expiring are renewed or acted on in good time.
- Monitoring the system for the Calibration of equipment used for inspection and testing ensuring it is performed to an adequate standard and on a regular basis in accordance with Aero Atlas Technologies calibration register.
- Co-ordination and monitoring of company approvals by other companies and Regulatory Authorities.
- Assist in Preparation, co-ordination, Monitoring, and issue of the MPM, AMO Procedures, and associated documents ensuring amendments are properly approved by the Regulatory Authorities concerned.
- Ensuring the archiving of technical records of work carried out is such that they are well maintained and readily accessible and that the disposal of records no longer required is in accordance with the requirements of Regulatory Authorities.
- Receive, review and disseminate all Airworthiness information ensuring all Regulatory Authority Directives, Instructions, Approval Limitations and Standards are complied with in all respects
Qualifications
Holder of a KCAA AMEL license
- Diploma in Aeronautical engineering. Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering will also be considered
- Working experience of 5 years in an aircraft maintenance organization. Experience in planning, quality assurance and Quality control will be an added advantage
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Excel
- Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
- Excellent team player and able to assist with maintenance tasks from time to time
