Suitable Candidates are invited to apply for the following position which exists in our Gaborone Operations:
Reporting to the Plant Manager,
Technical Manager Key Performance areas:
Provide leadership to employees in the area of responsibility
Ensure that all energy costs are monitored and efficiently managed
Manage and control the maintenance department
Ensure that maintenance of plant equipment is listed and managed on the applicable systems
Work closely with other departments to improve plant OEE’s.
Compile and control the maintenance budget
Assist with breakdowns and fault analysis on plant equipment
Ensure statutory tests and services are carried out on time and efficiently
Ensure the site including boiler installations, pressure vessels and ammonia systems remain legally compliant
Technical Job Minimum Requirements:
Mechanical/electrical or industrial engineering degree or N6/T4
At least 10 years post qualification and TBA8 Maintenance experience.
Tetra-Pak experience is an added advantage
5 years’ experience in FMCG environment.
Experience in PLC, SCADA and PRAGMA.
Good planning and Organizing skills is essential
Experience in NH3 refrigeration and boiler operation
Valid code drivers license
Must be able to do on job training with UHT Technicians
