Job description: Duma Works is recruiting a Chief Operating Officer  for one of our clients. The company seeks an intelligent and entrepreneurial individual to play a critical role in an innovative new startup.

The Chief Operating Officer will be a leading member of the management team whose duties will include:

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategy


• Oversee importation and delivery of goods


• Develop and execute marketing plan


• Lead customer service


• Interface with Government of Kenya on key policies impacting the business


• Contribute to capital raising efforts


• Manage local staff and partnerships

A university degree, entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to lead and to execute are minimal qualifications. 

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include equity.
