Our Client: A well-known brand name in property development is looking for an experienced Head of Sales to build and lead a dynamic sales team in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Position Summary: A talented individual with a strong background in property/land sales, or with experience in another industry that can be transferred to property sales.
The individual must have a highly successful sales track record and demonstrated ability to build a winning sales team and structure.
Location: Nairobi
Reporting To: Country Head
Head Of Sales Job Roles & Responsibilities
Build and lead an in-house sales team.
Conceive and execute large-scale, performance-based sales strategy
Establish and deliver sales targets, driving sales teamConceive and execute innovative sales drives and shape products to appeal to the market and perform ahead of the competition
Regularly analyze competitor offerings and react to market competition and trends
Lead generation in conjunction with the internal and external agents
Manage all elements of sales, including transactions
Provide effective and timely reporting on progress and make actionable recommendations
Run the budget for the department
Drive sales across residential, commercial and industrial developments
Maintain database of prospects, properties and clients and appropriately match all of them
Maintain ongoing interaction with marketing and research to build brand awareness
Provide innovative approaches to building client relationships and value outside of market norms
Desired Skills & Experience for Head of Sales Jobs in Kenya
Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Sales or related field; MBA an added advantage
10+ years of experience in sales management; real estate background mandatory;
Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
Well-spoken, articulate and a careful negotiator
Assertive and previous experience in managing sales transactions
Strong analytical skills
Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
Must be flexible in terms of working hours.
Adept reporting skills; ability to coach and delegate effectively
Must be able to plan and execute work schedules
