Brand Track is currently recruiting for the position of Business Development Manager.
Overall purpose
Business development and growth and Managing Account Managers
Business Development Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage a team of highly competitive Account Managers
Develop additional relations with existing clients
In cooperation with Account Managers close new business with existing customers for new products
Ensure retention and growth of the company revenue
Prospect for new customers in the wider East African Market
Increase customer portfolio through business development initiatives in the market
Assist in defining sales strategies to fit existing market conditions
Assist Account Managers in concluding deals and ensuring customers are serviced quickly
Maintain professional and effective communication at all levels ,stimulating initiatives, innovations and motivation for continuous improvements
Represent Brand Track Ltd at corporate meetings
Negotiate with potential clients where a good understanding of costing and pricing model is required
Assist Account Managers in coming up with products for customers
Conduct high level presentations of our company profile to prospective clients and existing strategic customer base
Provide direction to the Account Managers in the acquisition of a new customer base
Managing and reporting on a regular basis on pipeline management , customer target initiatives and trends in the market
Any other duty other duties assigned by management
Qualifications for Business Development jobs in Kenya
Bachelors degree in a business related field preferably Marketing
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in progressive corporate sales with 2 years as a Business Development Manager
An MBA degree will be of added advantage
Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Great presentation skills and professional business presence
In-depth working knowledge and experience in marketing
High level of commitment
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
