Job Description


Vacancy: Client Service Executive


Summary: Our client is one of the leading manufacturers in the mining space and produces some of the leading brands as their end products for the local and international market. Successful candidates should be comfortable working out of Nairobi.Reporting to Sales and Marketing Manager, the Client Service Executive will essentially establish and cultivate relationships with a company’s clients in the efforts of retaining and acquiring more business.


Their goal will be to reassure and bring back customer confidence that would result in improved profitability. 


The position holder will be required to re-introduce the products to customers as well as source new ones.


Key Deliverables


Client Relationship


Develop sales proposals together with Sales and Marketing Manager and present to potential customers

Work closely with other departments including production to ensure high level of service is provided both in terms of delivery and quality product;

Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails

Investigate any needs that are not being satisfied by the organization and note customer’s specifications/requirements/suggestions.

Opens customer accounts by recording account information as well as maintaining customer records by updating account information.

Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.

Support in drafting customer agreements  and following up for payment


Business Development:


Prospect for new business in assigned market segment with the aim of meeting/surpassing set sales targets.

Identify new markets/potential customers, cold call to arrange meetings and work with them to develop appropriate packages.

Continually monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to the Sales and Marketing Manager for action.

Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.

Develop and maintain a contacts database and continually update it with contact and activity details.

Prepare monthly sales reports and projections, review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.


Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing

At least 3 years experience in a sales and customer service role

Strong customer experience skills, this also includes sales experience

Solid verbal and written communication skills. Successful candidates should be able to manage time, projects and sales efficiently and be detail oriented.
