A flower farm in Kitengela seeks to recruit for the following vacancies.
He should have worked as a personal driver ( to a  Boss)  before for not less than two years.  He should reside around Karen and its environs or willing to relocate. He should have a O - Level certificate and have basic training in a business course. He should be a good communicator, able to manage time well and work under pressure. He should  be pleasant and able to learn fast. He should understand Nairobi and its environs very well and be able to drive within the city.He should be 28 years and above. He should have a certificate of good conduct and a valid driving license. Salary will be KES 22,065 Gross.
The candidates will be based in Nairobi CBD.

Truck Driver

He should have worked as a Truck driver before for not less than 2 years.  He should reside around Kitengela and its environs and be willing to relocate. He should have a O - Level certificate. He should be a good communicator, able to manage time well and work under pressure. He should  be pleasant and able to learn fast. He should be 28 years and above. He should have a certificate of good conduct and a valid driving license. Salary will be KES 13,810 Gross.

Exports and Logistics Coordinator
A bachelors degree in the relevant field. He / she should have worked in a busy office; performing all round office duties with dedication and efficiency. He/ she  should have ability to work under pressure, multi-task  and work under minimal supervision. He / she should be a fast learner. He/ she should be computer literate, able to ably communicate online and come up with relevant reports on duties assigned. He/ she should have good interpersonal and negotiation skills. He/ she should have the ability to meet deadlines at the shortest period. NB: Prior experience in office administration will be an added advantage.
 Salary: Will be negotiated depending on experience and potential.
 A bachelors degree in the relevant field. He / she should have worked in a similar position in a busy office; performing all round office duties with dedication and efficiency. They should have ability to work under pressure, multi-task  and work under minimal supervision. He/ she should coordinate and facilitate the international codes of standards ( auditing the company's processes)  He / she should be able to coordinate the duties of a Safety Officer as per OSHA guidelines and recommendationsHe/ she should have good interpersonal and negotiation skills. He/ she should have the ability to meet deadlines at the shortest period. NB: Prior experience in office administration will be an added advantage.
 Salary: will be negotiated depending on experience and potential.

Office Assistant
 

A bachelors degree or diploma in HR Management. She should have good communication and interpersonal skills. She should have ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. She should work with minimal supervision and be attentive to detail. She should have 3 years and above of experience in Office Administration. She should be able to grasp new work processes fast. She should have adequate computer knowledge and be able to come up with reports for various tasks given. She should be honest and have integrity at the work place. She should be a team player. NB: Prior experience in office administration will be an added advantage.
Salary: will be negotiated depending on experience and potential.

 Role Overview:  The CFO will be responsible for all aspects of the organization’s financial management, including strategic leadership and daily execution. The CFO will report to General Manager, work closely with the other department heads, including but not limited to Production, Post-Harvest, Informational Technology, Human Resource, and Accounting Manager.
Primary responsibilities:   
The CFO will have the following responsibilities:Oversee Human Resources, Procurement, Accounting, and other Administrative staff to ensure compliance with best-practices; Develop a cost accounting budget, including operating metrics, and measure actual results to forecasted figures;Design and implement adequate accounting procedures;Craft a tax and fiscal strategy in compliance with local regulations; Develop and manage local banking, auditing, and legal relationships;Prepare financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis;Prepare materials for the Board of Directors.A successful candidate for the role of CFO, will have the following credentials:At least five years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably with an export driven organization with annual sales greater than USD$20mn; Experience working with and/or developing complex accounting systems;Experience overseeing financial operations including budget development and scenario planning.Strong judgment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to articulate and present points of view and ideas effectively;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Bachelor of Commerce, MBA or similar qualification.

Human Resources Manager (HR Manager)
The HR Manager will drive and oversee the organization’s recruitment, selection, onboarding, and evaluation of potential employees and contractors. The HR Manager will report to the CFO, work closely with Production, Post Harvest, and Security Manager.

Primary responsibilities:

Our client a leading rose flower producer and located in Kiambu County wishes to recruit an Assistant Farm Manager with a view to sustain its current high quality produce and standards.

The job holder will serve as the principal assistant to the Farm Manager and will be involved in coordination and control of the production activities of the farm which will include irrigation, crop protection, post harvest procedures, maintenance of farm infrastructure and staff management.

Requirements

Minimum of Diploma in Horticulture / Agriculture.At least (5) years experience as a Production Manager or Assistant Production Manager of a Rose Flower Farm not less than 10 ha with responsibility for all production activities including new crop establishment, general crop husbandry, crop protection and feeding.The ideal candidate must in addition have post harvest experience including harvesting, cooling, grading and shipping.Experience in growing in substrate, under IPM and on a farm producing for direct market will have an added advantage.An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the selected candidate.

A leading rose flower producer wishes to recruit a high caliber candidate for the position of a UNIT MANAGER, reporting to top management and working as part of management team.

The position entails the following:
1. Carrying out all production processes/crop husbandry practices.
2. Implementation of the Company Integrated Crop Management Systems (ICM).
3. Proper keeping of production and ICM records for the unit
4. Liaising with the Post Harvest Department on Quality Issues
5. Carrying out of production forecast as and when required.
6. Drawing up weekly production reports
7. Drawing up weekly farm operations plan in liaison with the General Manager.
8. Responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of the spray and fertigation systems in the unit.
9. Ensuring that all personnel in the unit are trained on ICM programme and crop husbandry practices.
