Our client is a Tyre dealer, and holds franchise for some of the top Tyre brands in the market. They have fully fledged Tyre centers and service centers in both Nairobi and Nakuru.
They are searching for top talent, and hence we are seeking to fill the position of an Accountant. We are looking for a qualified, highly motivated, energized, and systems savvy individual.
Job Purpose
The Accountant will be responsible for the Finance portfolio of the business units; ensuring that Financial Accounting function fulfills the overall company objective by way of adherence to Global best practices, efficiency, effective utilization of the Finance system, reporting guidelines and business support to Customers and colleagues.
Internal Profile
Will have strong relationships with:
Sales, Operations, procurement, and leadership team.
Office Administrator
Excellent relationships with
High levels of respect/contact with clients.
Service Providers/Suppliers, Banks
Government bodies, KRA
Statutory bodies
Accountabilities
Financial Management and Reporting
Financial Controls
Compliance
Setting up a full fledge back office
Effective Management of the Financial System
Managing profitability
The Person
Min of 1st degree in a business related field (Finance / Accounting)
Qualifications For Accountant Jobs In Kenya
A qualified Professional Accountant (CPA) K
2-3 year’s practical experience in an accounting position; (work in FMCG or busy work environment a key added advantage)
Experience in Audit, tax laws, and financial analysis.
Analytical Skills with high Attention to detail
Managing Profitability and Accounting,
The Position will be based in Nakuru, those already based in Nakuru and it’s environs are encouraged to apply
