Job Description
Duma Works is hiring a driver for one of our clients.
The hiring company is one of the leading event management companies in Kenya that provide lighting rentals, L.E.D screens and other audio-visual equipment, for meetings and events.
The company is looking for a driver who is time conscious and will liaise with clients to deliver the equipment to them.
Driver General Purpose: The function of this role is to support the Technical and Event Production departments in achieving their mandate to deliver client engagements efficiently.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Pick up equipment from the stores and deliver them and personnel to site and return them as instructed
Ensure vehicles are kept clean and in good working order
Ensure safety of the equipment while in transit
Inform the Office Manager in due course on expiry of all permits, insurance and other statutory documentation required to keep the vehicles on the road
Education and Experience
KCSE C+
Qualified driver in classes B,C,E
At least 5 years’ experience in driving 7 ton trucks
Key Competencies
Well organized
Good written and spoken communication
Excellent safety record
Valid certificate of good conduct
35 – 45 years of age
