Our Client is an IT Company currently recruiting a Software Developer

Software Developer Job Responsibilities

The Software Programmer will have technical responsibility for developing software applications to support electronic billing systems, Core business intelligent /
Reporting systems, develop the company’s Open source CRM, HRM and re-design the company website to give it a fresh look and feel.

He/She will possess very strong competencies in programming, developing programming solutions and well as implementing business logic into computer programs.

The Software Programmer will work closely with members of the existing Finance, Technical and Sales & Marketing departments.

The Software Programmer will report to ICT and Technical Manager and provide support in all areas of software coding, application development, database development and basic IT support responsibilities.

Technical Skills

Minimum three years hands-on, experience in coding and software applications development.

Two years hands-on experience with .Net (C#, ASP), transact SQL, CSS, XML, JavaScript required

Experienced in developing both the Front and Back End applications using Visual Studio required

Knowledge of transactional databases (MySQL, MSSQL Server, SQLite) and database programming including stored procedures, triggers and functions required

Experience in Source Code Management systems (SourceSafe) required

Ability to read, test and debug C#, JavaScript software coding required

Proficient in .Net with solid object oriented modeling skills, UML, Use Cases, and EA

Experience with Stored Procedure Programming, Database Analysis, Data Conversions, Data Mapping

Experience in Android development, mobile programming, Web programming, HTML5 (Desired)

JDK (Java development toolkit), Android SDK (includes emulator), Eclipse for Java developers, ADT (Android

Development Toolkit) plugin for Eclipse (Desired)

Three years experience in development of rich system reports using Crystal reports, Microsoft Reporting services, etc

Technical and user documentation skills required
Qualifications For Software Developer Jobs In Kenya

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (Programming)

Experience working in a Telecom company preferred but not required

Expert in ASP.net,VB.net, C#, HTML5, CSS, Java, ADT, MSSQL, MySQL Competencies

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate in positive working relationships with other team members and partners

Ability to meet milestones and strict deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to make online presentations and communications of technical material either written or oral, in a clear and concise manner to non-technical partners
