Job Purpose
Responsible for HashiHauliers business and based in Kisumu, the person will manage all administration involved with the procurement of goods & services in liaison with the Procurement Coordinator.
Procurement Assistant Job Responsibilities
Solicitation and evaluation of quotes.
Processing of purchase orders.
Checking order acknowledgments and following-up on deliveries.
Filing ordering documentation.
Contacting distributors and producers.
Helping suppliers solving related purchasing issues.
Assisting the purchase officers in their daily tasks.
Maintaining master data.
Qualifications for Procurement Assistant jobs in Kenya
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Supplies.
Professional Membership with the Institute of Purchasing & Supplies.
2 years working experience in purchasing & supplies.
Knowledge and hands-on experience of MS Office applications and the Materials Management module of an ERP system, ideally SAP.
Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills, Presentable, Assertive.
Self-driven, Team Player, Results Oriented, Integrity, and Problem Solving Skills, Continuous Learning
