Our client is actively involved in the Modern Retail and Traditional Retail Trade for FMCG, Electronics and other industries. With an extensive team spanning the region, their selling solutions are delivered through merchandising forces, field sales forces and/or retail consulting services. They seek to hire an operations manager to oversee the activities in the sales and merchandising departments.

Operations Manager Job Key Responsibilities

Increasing management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members

Assigning accountabilities
Planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

Developing and delivering strategic plans for the Sales Solutions department

Allocating resources

Reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections

Delivering current and long term profitability, Cash flow results

Coordinating efforts by establishing procurement, field and technical service policies and practices

Coordinating activities between clients and staff

Building company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices

Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

Any other duties as required by Management
Key Qualifications for Operations Manager Kenyan Jobs

Degree in Business administration/ Sales or related field

Minimum 5 years work experience (managing people at preferably a similar level)

Minimum 35 years

Strong hands-on field management experience is a must!

Ability to report EXCO is a must

Performance Management, Staffing, Management Proficiency, Coordination, Coaching, Developing Standards, Financial Planning and Strategy, Process Improvement, Decision Making, Strategic Planning, Quality Management
