Duties include but are not limited to: Maintain accurate records of all stock items through the stock cards for each bin by keying in all issues and receipts on a daily basis. Fafi Integrated Development Association (FaIDA) is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) operating in Fafi District.

FaIDA seeks to address the causes and consequences of human suffering and poverty amongst some of the most vulnerable communities in Fafi District and the region at large through participatory relief and development invention in partnership with Governmental and Non-Governmental Organisation.

FaIDA, with financial support from Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is implementing a three months emergency WASH project in Kambii Oos refugee camp to address the sanitation and hygiene challenges in the camp.

FaIDA is recruiting a qualified Kenyan citizen for the position of Project Officer (WASH) to be based in Kambii Oos on a three (3) months contract with a possibility of extension depending on the availability of funds. The successful candidate should be willing to relocate to Dadaab and report to work immediately.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Project Coordinator, the position holder will be responsible for the implementation of the WASH activities in Kambi Oos refugee camp as well as capacity building of WASH Committee and incentive workers.

The WASH Officer will work closely with Camp WASH Committees to implement sanitation and hygiene promotion activities.

The Project Officer will assess and report on WASH situation in Kambi Oos and identify options for repair or provision of necessary WASH infrastructure; provide planning and technical support for training of WASH committees and incentive workers for hygiene promotion; Organize waste collection and disposal; link WASH activities and interventions and support planning and monitoring of Rapid Hygiene Promotion campaigns among other duties.

Person specification:

BSc degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning and Management; at least three (3) years working in community based WASH program; practical knowledge in design of community WASH systems; good assessment, analytical and writing skills; experience in training using participatory methodologies; good computer skills and hands on experience.

Background:

The Association of Microfinance Institution of Kenya (AMFI —K) is a National Network of Micro finance institutions. AMFI is registered under Companies Act.

To serve its members better AMFI is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of a Social Performance Manager.

Reporting to the CEO of AMFI the Social Performance Manager (SPM) will promote, implement and coordinate the SPM activities in Kenya.

She/He will assist the Microfinance institutions to sustain, promote and implement SPM in order to improve their transparency and enhance their capacity to innovate products that have greater social impact on the lives of their clients and their families.

Specific Responsibilities:

Implementation of SPM activities in KenyaDevelopment of rational social performance management (SPM) planAssist AMFI to identify and support MFIs that require support.Coordinate the local consultants in their support to the industry.Monitor the provision of 5PM technical assistance provided to MFIs to ensure that ¡t is both timely and of high quality.Identity and develop strategic partnership with other International Agencies interested in supporting social performance management and then leveragetheir efforts in order to generate greater impact on the microfinance sector development in the country.Ensure that project targets are met on timely basis.Ensure timely submissions of narrative and financial reports t0AMFI and supporting agencies.Development of harmonized manuals to be used for technical support by the consultants.Any other duties as given from time to time by the CEO —AMFI on SPM.Required Qualifications

Education:

Masters Degree or equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Sociology or Finance.

Experience:

Three to five years of experience as a program coordinator/ manager in a large institution dealing with Micro finance. Experience in training, Project monitoring, social performance management will be an added advantage.

Communication Skills:

Fluency in English is required. Hands on Word, Excel, Power Point, Ms Project and Internet are mandatory.Excellent interpersonal skills including capacity for proposal development is essential.Functional and Technical Skills:

Demonstrate ability to identify and focus on priorities.Forward lookingSolid Leadership and strategic thinking, experience and networking.Practical experience and training in Social Performance Management tools and practices.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with different institutions and Variety of stake holders.Excellent organizational skillsExperience ¡n training, listening, implementation and learning facilitation.Travel:

The position requires extensive travel in Kenya and one should be a qualified driver, with a valid driving license.

Position: HIV AIDS Technical Advisor – Medical Doctor

Job Location: Counties in Central and Eastern Province of Kenya with frequent travel within the project zone.

Background Information

Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) is faith based organization that is a national network of Protestant Churches’ health facilities and programs from all over Kenya.

CHAK is seeking to recruit an HIV/AIDS Technical Advisor and 4 Programme Officers in the USAID Funded APHIA Plus HIV/AIDS Project in Eastern and Central Kenya zone (Zone 4).

CHAK is part of the consortium that has been awarded the APHIA Plus grant to implement HIV/AIDS treatment, care and support in Faith Based facilities in the region.

The HIV AIDS Technical Advisor will provide technical and management leadership on HIV/AIDS and related TB/HIV/AIDS co-infection in Faith Based health facilities in APHIA Plus Zone 4.

He/She will support the design, implementation, monitoring & evaluation of HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Health activities in FBO Health facilities in the region to ensure a fully coordinated, integrated and collaborative response to HIV/AIDS.

Roles and responsibilities

Provide overall programmatic and technical leadership support to the APHIA Plus program in Zone 4.Provide management and technical support to HIV/AIDS and related TB/HIV/AIDS and RH programs and coordinate with relevant partners in the region.Work with Program Officers in the field to ensure proper program implementation, including tracking progress, and documentation of outcomes.Support program monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS, TB and RH activitiesRepresent CHAK in HIV/AIDS, TB and RH stakeholder forums.Provide mentorship to staff working in the program.Facilitate communication between CHAK and the other consortium membersAny other responsibilities that may be assigned based on the project needs.At least a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBCHB). MPH is an added advantage.Minimum three years experience working in technical oversight, design and implementation of HIV/AIDS programs.Minimum three years experience in managing international donor funded programs including work plan development, budget development and tracking, staff supervision and monitoring & evaluation.
